Spiritum is reimagining medical scrubs so they are breathable, functional and oh so fashionable! The functionality of Spiritum Scrubs is only one feature. Do you ever feel like you are looking after everyone else but not yourself? Do you want to feel lighter but don’t know where to start? When wearing our scrubs, we also want you to feel that lightness of breath, a sparkle, a sense of wellbeing as you show up to work being the best version of yourself. You will not only look good in Spiritum Scrubs but you can also feel good while you are doing good.
When we were starting our company, we started with the name. Just like naming a new child, we took turns throwing words at each other that we felt would be the perfect fit for our business baby. Flow. Vibrant. Move. Wind. Breath. Breath – that’s it! Or was it? It had flow, it had levity, it had movement, it was right, but not completely. Something was missing, but we couldn’t quite put our finger on what, until we discovered that the Latin word for breath was Spiritum. This was so much more evocative of how we envisioned our business, and how we wanted women to feel upon experiencing it -sparkly!
Of course, a business name is one thing, but what underpins the name and the business overall are our values:

To us, Integrity refers to keeping it real and defining those not negotiables. Testing and learning and staying true to who you are.
Courage as a value speaks to us in voice – having the confidence to find your voice and use it. Saying no when it is right but also hard.
Belief is the mindset that anything is possible. Know your strengths and leverage them to turn limiting beliefs into expanding ones.
Connection is relational. It’s finding your tribe and those that lift you up and make you sparkle.
